Fuerteventura, what will you bring us in 2024?  A 2024 legal and poetic forecast.

“Amor, a ti vengo a quejarme

de mi amo, que te hace mandar

cada vez que duermo

y me convierte en un desdichado que sufre.

Ella no quiere ni verme ni hablarme,

¿qué me quieres, Amor?”

This poem by Fernando Esquio, a Galician troubadour of the late 13th/early 14th century, tells us about the expectations of love. 

We assimilate empathy to law (Love to Law) because we believe that law is applied by and for people. 

For this reason we have translated this poem into English, and used it as an inspiration for our 2024 legal and poetic forecast .

“Law, to you I come to complain

of my master, who makes you send

every time I sleep

and makes me a suffering wretch.

She doesn’t want to see me or talk to me,

what do you want from me, Law?”
